Unfinished Business follows the professional and love lives of Cameron, Angela, Monica and Alonzo.
Watching Cameron overcome the heart break and bitterness from his relationship with Angela was interesting. But this was also interesting from Angela's point of view. Balancing emotions and business ambitions showed strength in both characters, but the real strength was shown when they decided to step forward to become a family for their sake and the sake of their unborn child.
The way that other characters such as Double R and Dray were involved in the life of Monica made her relationship with Alonzo just as challenging. Her strength and independence is exactly what Alonzo needed to complete his life, so he welcomed the challenge of winning her heart.
This book was full of drama and some moments that will have the reader saying "where did did that come from."
Olayinka Aikens’ “Unfinished Business” is the story of Cameron James, Monica Holiday, Angela Daniels and Alonzo Stone. Cameron had his heart broken by Angela when she dumped him and married another man. Now she's divorced and ready to get her first love back. Monica has had her own problems in the game called love. Will she and Alonzo get past their differences to see that they are truly meant for each other?
This would have been a good book if it had been edited correctly. I had a hard time finishing it. There were a lot of misspelled and missing words which made it very difficult to enjoy. The story line did flow well but errors proved too distracting.
