I picked up this book because I was interested in the various projects like Radio Free Europe and the kind of role it played during the Cold War and after and what, if any, impact it has had. Instead, this book does touch only lightly on this like during the Hungarian revolution but moreso spends its time on the bureaucratic politics which I didn't find very interesting.
