Christmas is a fun and colorful holiday. It’s the perfect time of year for teaching young children to observe and learn their colors. It’s A Colorful Christmas is a color concept book, that shows children various Christmas elements and emphasizes their colors. It’s a glimpse into one family’s holiday festivities and all the colors that surround them. This story includes the colors – Green Christmas tree, Blue Christmas lights, Gold star, Brown gingerbread house, Red Santa Suit, Black Santa boots, White snow, Silver bells and Orange pumpkin pie. Written in rhyme and full of fun!

I chose this book because it is close to Christmas. It seems to be a good teaching book. Each page emphasizes a color. The letters that spell the color are written in that color. The rhyme is good and the illustrations are bright.
