My 4-year old daughter has gotten into braids & hair styling lately, so I got a few children's hair styling books from the library. This was the best one for our needs - mainly because it was so simplistic.

There are a few semi-complicated french braid styles (including corn rows - lol), but mostly it is age-appropriate children's hair styles that any parent can accomplish. Older children could probably do most of these styles themselves. One style was just a pony tail. Another was putting a barrette on the side of your hair. There are also several versions of braids, headbands and scrunchies.

The book was great to show my daughter simple & appropriate hair options. And to remind myself of hair styling options for children.

With two daughters in the house, I would want to own this book and reference it in the future.
