John Kinsella is the author of more than twenty collections of poetry. The recipient of the Christopher Brennan Award, he has taught at Cambridge University and Kenyon College. He lives in Western Australia.
Golly this took a lot longer than expected nor do I believe I am *done* reading. With the thematic presence of 'open endedness', the pastorals and parrot topics seemed adventitious. The first section is presented with a precarious manner (atleast it seemed so to me) but the concepts are launched off with stimulating multidisciplinary narratives; analogizing topological ideas of space and curvature with author's personal political ethics.
