A new model for productive teamwork that generates wealth From instincts as ancient as our hunter and gatherer stages, men and women have worked in teams. But what have we really learned about these drives and desires in a lasting way? Does all of the selfishness and scandal in business and government today suggest we have spilt the special sauce of teamwork? Doing More With Teams explores what can be done to encourage a new form a competition so that organizations complete the challenges before them to drive growth and get results. From New York Times bestselling author, Bruce Piasecki offers new grounds for the idea of teamwork, and challenges the perception that individualism is the only way to wealth. Doing More With Teams enlightens the world to a new, more ethical, more collaborative way forward.

I thought this book was great - perfectly timed given today's corporate influence and greed. I've seen Dr. Piasecki speak and he always informs and entertains -just as he does in the book. Doing More With Teams is a perfect follow up to Doing More With Less, and World, Inc. This trio of environmental sustainability and corporate social response messaging could drive better choices made at the business level, thereby affecting a much needed global change. Dr. Piasecki's company, AHC Group (www.ahcgroup.com) also provides leadership groups that have influenced the way multi-nationals do business. To watch his power point slides is to feel a future much more close at hand ....
The book's title is misleading. I was expecting a read about how to improve my teams. Instead, I ended up with a set of stories about the benefits of teams! The book does not contain any applicable methodologies. I do not advise anyone to buy this book if they want to build or improve teams. This book is for the selfish who do not believe in teamwork.
this book is really, really, really bad. I couldn't even be bothered to read more than 40 pages. It's so bad, I wonder if he ever had an editor. do yourself a favor and read some pages before you put down any money.
