I think I would have given this a higher rating if it would have been the first practical book I read on planting a church. It really is a very comprehensive and practical book, but for me it was a collection of information that I had gleaned from other places. Also, I think there are some things communicated as "must dos" that are really dependent on your local environment, target group, and church climate. It has a distinct modern flavor to it, which may make applying parts of it difficult in an increasingly post-modern world.
