The Black Ship

Rate this book
Part grimoire and part manifesto, The Black Ship presents the vision of the Pandemonium Mandala, teaches the lore of the emergent Daemonic race and is the blueprint for a culture based on Left-Hand Path principles. It begins with such basics as the invocation of the personal Daemon and new ways of consecrating working tools and personal space before exploring work with Ancestral spirits, the Mysteries of the Lesser and Greater Sabbats, the Sacrament of the Royal Blood of Chaos and the techniques of Transmogrification. It then explores the Daemonic rationale underlying new conceptions of politics, law and the evolutionary implications of space migration. Finally, The Black Ship concludes with a Chaosmological vision of this universe that both relates to and differs from ancient Gnostic teachings, with some new elements that may surprise. New edition with illustrations by Hagen von Tulien.

This is a very basic, but provocative book worth reading, it exposes the future of mankind and the key to understand our very nature and to unlock all hidden potentials

This book could have used an editor, and when it first came out, the teasers made it interesting without explaining much about the contents.. This is mainly selling a world view, which it does artistically, I will give it that.. You get instructions on aligning your triple soul, the parts of which it calls the Familiar, the Advocate and the Daemon, I knew these parts from Feri Witchcraft, and they are present in many worldview..Teh writer gives intructions for aligning the triple soul, very similar to Feri's Ha prayer- though there, again, I think that FEri might have gotten it from somewhere. They even use the same "Let the Rain of Blessings Fall.."The book has you work on uniting more with your Daemonic nature, and finding others like you, withdrawing from non-useful company, through cutting cords, working more with your Ancestors and working out any bloodline problems.. and something he calls Di-Identification that seems REally like ho'opono'pono where I heard it form Joe Vitale "I'm Sorry, Please Forgive Me, I love You, Than-you, with slightly different wording.. The Techniques are useful, I had just seen them before, and if you haven't seen them, and this is your flavor, it might be the book for you.. I also would have enjoyed a bibliography and footnotes, but that's just me..
