James A. Ward was born in Ipswich, Massachusetts. He spent thirty years traveling worldwide as an operative and business executive in the defense industrial complex. He writes action and adventure novels using his knowledge of clandestine operations, along with a keen sense of diverse cultural and religious values. He is famed for writing action and adventure without four letter words or four letter plots, especially his six book series: 'Bob Steck's Adventures of a Spymaster.' He has also written several historical novels and is the owner of Scantum Press. He now resides in coastal New England.

I'm always three paragraphs into the next chapter before I realize I've finished the previous one! So many twists and turns, cultures and characters! The web holding them all together finally lets go. A well crafted tale, enjoyable start to finish!
