Published in 2006 by RiverOak Publishing, this First Edition, first printing hardcover measures 5 1/4" by 7 1/4" and has 191 pp. A book of a dozen inspirational Christmas theme short stories.
A collection of short stories with Christmas themes that are...ok. My favorite of the lot is the one by Sigmund Brouwer, which kind of is why I picked up the book in the first place. The others...are solid stories, but nothing so memorable that now as I write this review months later, that stand out in my head at all. Which is a shame, but I remember thinking at the time that they were merely OK, not outstanding.
I love Christmas short stories, and Christian-themed ones are especially hard to find. I hate that I was a little disappointed with this book, because I so wanted to like it. In short? Read it if you come across it, but don't go out of your way to find a copy.
