It is going to be a one star for me. If I could give minus one hundred star, I would. The poor trees didn’t deserve this. This was the absolute worst. if you you are a women spare yourself the torture and give yourself the self-preservation and don't read this.
I would have cut it some slack because it was released on 1989. However, the more I read the angrier I become and that’s why I decided to give in and just rip it to shreds.
The only reason i read this in the first place is out of curiosity. I mean the title says it all and the fact that it was written by a man to women. What could it possibly be about?
When they said curiosity killed the cat. Yeah, I wish I died without laying my eyes on this … for a lack of a better word “hot mess”.
The author decided to start his book by lecturing women on what to wear and how to dress up for their husbands, which gave me a ginormous red flag. I debated whether I should just dropped it right then and there. A *probably* old man telling me how dress when in fact I know better .
A line that made me want to burn this book “"أما تخافين من زميلة العمل ah yes! You should not trust your husband at work. Another chapter about dressing up for the man. I am sensing a personal trauma here .
Oh how lovely! Comparing a woman to a refrigerator following it by another paragraph about the bedroom and men’s needs. *yawn*
Men really do be thinking that the worst thing that could happen to a woman is divorce lol.
Another outrageous thing . if you describe a women to your husband he might fall in love with her . اللهم ثبت علينا العقل و الدين
So this- low life a joke of a human being-man fell in love with another women and that would be the women problem because she talked to him about her !!!!!!! is he like a dog and a child or a teenager . disgusting.
The audacity of this man to write this without shame.
I can’t get over the fact that he called when a women has a period with " أسبوع القذارة "
That’s not the only thing , no he had to make it a week of suffering for women about men and went on and on about how the wife should dress up for the man even if she doesn’t feel like it . a man lecturing women about hygiene. Good god.
not only that but he said that she has to do more than normal to compensate for him not being able to have sex with her .
he also think that a women should never be too tired for her husband . If you are busy in and outside the house and at night you just want to go to sleep and rest. Well, guess what you are at fault and he has the right to cheat on you. He insisted on this point specifically on various occasion. In page 92 he went as far as saying your husband should be your top priority even if you grow old and you have other responsibilities. If you don’t do that he has every right to cheat on you with the maid. I think he has a thing for maids. He also take this opportunity to disrespect maids who’s only in the house to do her work and get paid. why would she wants you. I guess in his imagination if you are a man every women near you will automatically want you, which is pathetic to say the least.
He is also against working women. Are we surprised? No! He said that a woman should only work for necessary reasons. Making a career for yourself and doing something that you love should never be you goal. How dare you work and get paid and then proceeding to buy whatever you want without caring your husband. (This is where I had to pause and take multiples deep breaths so I wouldn’t curse).
All in all, I don’t think men like this should be allowed to talk about women. Maybe go lecture men about their hygiene and their sexual life next time. I just want to tell the authors that our lives don’t revolve around you. His writing style wasn’t even that great . nothing in this book deserves to be read .
