A powerful tool for the approximate solution of differential equations, the finite element is extensively used in industry and research. This book offers students of engineering and physics a comprehensive view of the principles involved, with numerous illustrative examples and exercises. 1983 edition.
I read this book following the suggestion of my supervisor and I really like it. The math is not difficult, the illustration is clear; so you won't need to put too much of effort to read it. The way that the author approaches the problem and gives explanation is beautiful. Highly recommend for the beginner in finite elements
