Love the cover! The log cabin reminds me of a house I lived in long, long ago. Love the many stories narrated by Aca Wayne Duran III, an elderly man who thought he might end up in a loony-bin as visions were revealed to him through vapors, smoke coming out of the walls and floors. The builders, Mary and August, poured their heart and soul into the walls of their new home. After Mary's death, the soul of the house changed forever; it was lonely and sad. Several weeks after August buried Mary, he returned to the house and said a sad goodbye to their once-loving home; the walls of the house lined with moisture drops as it missed the love of its creators. One question, how was this house able to communicate?

The house wanted to be released, and Aca put together a plan to end it all!! This unforgettable story will keep you on the edge of your seat, written by the multi-talented Laura Wright LaRoche.

I can't say enough about this book. I was so engrossed after just a few pages, that I didn't put it down until I finished. I love the stories about each family and how the home feels after each leaves.What a great ending this book has.I would read any book by this Author. This is great writing and storytelling.

This is a very enjoyable story, and even though it took me a while to read, it was worth every minute I spent!
