The George Plimpton of Australian Rock Journalism, with intimate access to the band during the recording of their first comeback album, captures the inner workings and dynamics of the Chisel machine and the process it takes for a legendary group to haul themselves back to reality and do it again. Teased out details of flashpoint moments in the studio and on the road that the band themselves have no doubt long forgotten, captured on the page with scintillating clarity. Enthralling and great.
