I felt that the essays in this book weren't as good as some essays I have read in other college essay books. Of course they are actual essays, and it is probably helpful to see these if you have a student applying to a UC. I found the essays impressive though a bit dull. (Though the prompts have changed since this book was published.)

This book is amazing. I've already discussed it with professional writers and editors who work at https://www.essayedge.com/ and they proofread different application papers such as personal statements, application essays, and so on. They told that this book can serve as a great example of how to sell yourself and get admission.
