20 to Stitch: Mini Cross Stitch
Each of Michael Powell's quirky, contemporary mini-cross-stitch designs are accompanied by a full-color chart, key, and instructions for completing the projects. All the designs can be worked on 14-count Aida or evenweave fabric and measure approximately three and one-half inches. There is a broad range of subjects to choose from, including country cottages, flowers, hearts, and Christmas trees, so whatever the occasion, there is bound to be a design that suits it perfectly. General instructions, simple stitch diagrams, and notes on fabric preparation are included at the beginning of the book, so even those new to cross stitch will be able to accomplish all of the projects.

All of my threads are DMC, so allowing for some conversion the designs are fine, I just don't like the method of using two different stands all the time. You have to be really careful with not twisting your thread constantly for it not to look messy.

Very beautiful pattenrs
My only inconvenience was that sometimes the long stich cover the color sign, making it difficult to read. Otherwise I am very much enjoying this book

I love these small designs
The first time I saw designs I fell in love. So cute. I am going to make all of them because there is none which I don’t like.

Excellent patterns. Doesn't use DMC thread, though.

Twenty mini cross stitch designs, different, quirky. Good charts. I like the fact that these are not the same run-of-the-mill designs you see everywhere. Not my favorite, but a nice little book.

The designs are not really my sort of style, which I probably should have worked out from the cover. However, they do look interesting, are small (as advertised!), and uniquely use a lot of longstitch instead of backstitch, so for someone who likes this style, it would be a worthwhile book.
