Like most composters and organic gardeners, the author is just a tad obsessed with the subject. Do we really need to know the best way to collect and cut used doors to the proper dimensions for the ideal compost bin? That aside, the book has helpful suggestions for compost production and use. The gardening tips are based on the author's experience in the UK and may not always apply to the North American climate.
