Organized and presented well, this book is a good introduction to the fundamentals of logic. It is divided into sections on categorical logic and modern symbolic logic. There is also a chapter on induction. The exercises were helpful in understanding the concepts, and the tables of valid syllogisms were handy. Logic is very much like math with words, after all. It's a good book for the aspiring philosopher.

My textbook for Intro to Logic. I had no idea I'd be so enamored with this subject. It's fascinating albeit difficult to comprehend at times but I'd love to dive in a little deeper someday.
