Rebecca Venturas likes adventure. She scales mountains, jumps out of airplanes in search of an ungroomed ski run and loves pushing the envelope, in and and out of the bedroom. But bondage - that was something she was a virgin to. That is until she meets Will Cooper, the sophisticated and successful Wall Street guy who invites her to try.
Told through the eyes of Rebecca and Will, The Bondage Virgin is the story of the night Will initiates Rebecca into the world of collars and cuffs, whips and chains, pain and pleasure, of domination and submission. What Rebecca thinks will be an isolated adventure turns out to be the beginning of something much bigger than she had ever imagined!
The Bondage Virgin is the first in a trilogy by Veronica J. Dantes
Veronica J. Dantes writes erotica and erotic romance for her pleasure and yours. She believes desire begins in the mind and that there is no better channel to stimulate that passion than with words. Her hope is that her erotica stimulates yours.
The Bondage Virgin is a diary like ride through a woman’s exploration of BDSM with her knowledgeable new boyfriend. I was slightly thrown off when Will’s point of view came into the story but the second time his thoughts took over I was thrilled to see inside his psyche.
Will choose Rebecca hoping she would embrace his lifestyle but remained unsure because of a past experience. Rebecca has no idea what Will is thinking after he leaves her night after night, hot and bothered, wondering if he could possibly be gay.
I loved Ms. Dantes’ story premise and her ability to let you see deeply into her character’s minds. I found the following passage brilliant and it shows some of the author's insight into BDSM.
“Men had always complimented me. I had always known I was attractive. But there was something about listening to him say it while restrained and being forced to really look at me that magnified the experience.”
My only complaint with the book would be Will’s “strict Dom aggression” to “kindness” mood shifts. But, I think this is the author’s prerogative and just not something that worked for me. It only detracted slightly from the overall story and many people may not have a problem with it at all.
This is the first book in Rebecca and Will’s story and will leave you wanting the next installment quickly.
This was a short quick read that I kept thinking that it was something missing in it. Rebecca Venturas likes adventure. She has never tried bondage until meets Will Cooper, the sophisticated and successful Wall Street guy who invites her to try. The sex scenes in this book were hot and I did enjoy reading about them. I felt that something was missing form this book this was my first time reading this author and the book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling and as this is book one of this series. I am not sure if I will be reading book 2.
Found this book in my TBRPile and decided it's time for a little bondage. This story for me is between a 1 and 2 star. I rounded up because what happens in this book is unfortunately more realistic than not. The male dominant in this book is cringe-worthy and an example of a dominant I probably wouldn't recommend for a newbie nor would I want to play with.

Unfortunately, I was very disheartened in “The Bondage Virgin”. What should have been a story of the discovery of your inner submissive being brought out by a Dominant that you know and trust turned into a BDSM story that actually scared me.
Rebecca meets Will while waiting to vote. They hit it off while waiting in line and Will is waiting for her when she exits the building. He wines and dines her, never touching her even though she has given off all of the signals that she wants his touch. She is trying to get over her boyfriend and thinks that sex with Will will be what finally does it for her.
Will is a patient man. He knows that if he brings up his kinky side, Rebecca will be off and running. It’s happened in the past. He didn’t bother to tell his wife before they were married about his proclivity towards BDSM – she left him. Then there are the woman who are heavy into it. But, he feels Rebecca is the one. That she’ll accept him for who he is and be a willing participant in his “games” as he calls them. He text’s her “We should do something kinky.” And she agrees. What transpires is a night of Master/Slave.
So, here’s what upset me through out the story. After reading a lot of BDSM, after chatting with a lot of BDSM authors, the one thing that always comes through is “Safe and consensual”. There is also the matter of “trust” between his Dom and Submissive. Will kept bringing up trust but I don’t see where he instilled it through his character. He went from the “Master” to a very loving man in a heartbeat. He said he was going to punish her for asking questions and not immediately remembering to call him “Master”. I thought that part of the BDSM scene was questioning, understanding what was going to happen, explaining a scene, getting your submissive to understand that you are there for her pleasure, as well as yours. Not just saying “Trust Me”. Will just seemed to get off on Rebecca’s fear, her indecision. She’s a librarian, trained to do research, ask questions. He knows this. He collared her during their first scene together….he said he was going to punish her and didn’t follow through…he kept giving her orders that were very vague and then getting upset with her when she didn’t follow them … he gave me whiplash going from Dom to man and then back to Dom again. Then there was all the references to “Fifty Shades”.
Now, I have said this in the past – I am VANILLA. Straight vanilla with no other flavors mixed in (no matter how much I hint that I would like some chocolate swirled in). So, my knowledge is through other authors, people in the lifestyle, website and for all I know maybe it does sometimes happen like this. I am not saying that I am authority on the subject, they are just my views. I understand that this is the first in a trilogy. So I do hope that Ms. Dantes does a little more research into the subject before going into another scene. It would have been a wonderful story with a little more research, a little understanding of the lifestyle. Her writing was fresh and new but unfortunately, to me, it was a little bit unbelievable.
This book was provided to the reviewer by the author in exchange for an honest review at SeductiveMusings.blogspot.com
Rebecca is a person who loves to take risks and expand her horizons. She is always looking for new experiences outside her comfort level, and that most definitely includes her sex life. So when Will, the guy’s she’s just started dating, sends her a text message suggesting a kinky evening, she is eager to finally lose her virginity in the one area of sexual contact she’s never managed to experience. Will, for his part, is just as eager to introduce her to the pleasure and pain of being his beloved submissive. But will what they both want to do be what they need to have by the time they are finished?
I wanted to like this story more than I actually did. The author did a great job of building up anticipation from Rebecca’s point of view, and I was keen to discover not only what Will had planned but whether Rebecca would want to continue once she’d had a taste of how her life might change. The point of view switches between Rebecca and Will were effective but inconsistent, which I found somewhat frustrating at times. I also did not like that Will pretty much talked Rebecca out of having a safe word, especially since Rebecca was a complete BDSM novice. But the most distracting thing for me was the intermittent lack of correct punctuation throughout the story, especially when commas either appeared when they shouldn't, or didn't when they should.
I would really like to read the next two books in the trilogy when they are available because I want to know what will happen next with Rebecca and Will. But I hope that a copy editor will have a chance to look those books over before they are published.
Rebecca meets Will and feels an instant attraction; he asks her out on dates for a month without taking what she is offering. He sends a text to ask her to come to his place for BDSM; she is unsure using her logical researcher’s brain but she feels it is right for her to go. Will welcomes her warmly and then becomes a Dom. The author went back and forth with chapters giving Rebecca's struggle to submit and release herself to Will; in Will's chapters he wants her badly and is in danger of loosing control as the author tells of his reactions to her and how he cares for her. This is a first BDSM experience at its finest in a story format that gives both sides of the excitement and depth of feelings ~ I look forward to the next part of the story! The Bondage Virgin is a slow build up of a relationship and showing both male and female point of view adds to the emotional level of the book.
Rebecca’s life changes the night she meets, Will, a Wall Street type of guy she has no idea is into BDSM. Rebecca has been reading up on the subject as she works as a researcher, but nothing prepares her for the real thing.
Will isn’t much into taking things slow. He’s been looking for someone to share interest in his lifestyle and he knows Rebecca is the one for him.
So they embark on their first night together, but Will is pulling out all the stops, telling Rebecca there is no safe word that will make him stop. Will Rebecca survive the night as Will’s slave?
This book goes from her thoughts in one chapter to his in the next. The author does not repeat the same scene from each view which I like. There is no dripping hot sex but there is a lot of build up. So much build up it's almost torture as I would believe Rebecca was feeling as well. When the act finally came it was not spoke of in the book. It has a ending that makes you want to find out where Rebecca & Will's relationship will go.......Read more of my blog iloveladyporn.com
I also didn’t like the way he dismissed her concerns, I.E. I don’t like safe words. That’s not a way to enter a BDSM relationship. Especially since they don’t know one another, and Rebecca is a novice. That particular exchange bothered me. It’s the Dom’s responsibility to have a solid accord with his Submissive, or in this case Slave. Without that, things get scary.
This is a wonderful story about two people willing to explore their sexuality. Will really likes Rebecca but he feels the vanilla world is just too plain. He sets his sights on making Rebecca want the things he so wants to give her by trusting him. As he begins to break down her walls, he unlocks things inside her that she's never before imagined-yet alone felt. Book one is a great start to this series!
