Rate this book
Diane Morse, a solitary widow living on an isolated New York farm, wasn’t used to having much company. Her few remaining relatives resided halfway across the country, and her nearest neighbors were content to leave the eccentric Diane to her own devices. Now, there are entities on the farm that dog her steps, making themselves known to the land’s mistress in an unsettling manner. She was sure she had a firm handle on the spirit world, but the arrival of the gray men causes her to doubt her abilities, as well as her sanity…

Nice quick little effort. Lots of description almost more scene setting than plot. Nice though
