Ragman

Rate this book
Rory Regan’s father, Gerry, had come from the Warsaw ghetto to America, hoping to give his son a better life. He had known war, so he cried when Rory was drafted to serve in VietNam. But his son came home, albeit scarred from the experience, and Gerry thought their wars were finally over. Little did he dream that they would soon be fighting another war at home. Gerry and son ran a small pawn shop in the old neighborhood called Rags ’n’ Tatters. They ran an honest business, trying to help people down on their luck. Unfortunately, the mob had designs on their store, seeing it as a perfect place to deal drugs from. When Gerry refused to give in to them, they killed him and gravely wounded Rory. Rory recovered and revisited the store, finding a strange suit of rags. When he wore it, he became Ragman with the mystical power to capture the souls of evildoers in the rags of his suit, then compel them to do his bidding. (from ComicBase)
