Cute

Despite the author's total lack of understanding on all things punctuation - oh, the comma splices! - I enjoyed this. This is a cute story, and I kept wondering if Gerry indeed was Elvis. I'm no expert, but the author clearly knows The King well.

If you want to feel good about the world and life read this book! The basic premise of the novel draws you in from the start, and continues to keep you intrigued throughout the read. The easy going, warm timbre of the prose teases you into trying to guess the plot outcome and carries you along in a way that intrigues and delights at once.
The Author has obviously done her research and knows her subject matter, the characters are three dimensional and at times almost leap off the page to drag you into the ever deepening plot. As a reader you find yourself really caring about the main characters and desperate to see how they develop, there is a definate sense of affection from the Author to the characters she has so deftly created.

This book will leave you feeling uplifted and happy with the outcome and hoping for more, I love this Authors writing and can't wait for the follow up. Two words for this promising writer with a real future in the literary world...."MORE PLEASE!!!"

This book was a great read. It transported me straight back to the 80s, with references to long-forgotten stuff such as 'Shake and Vac' and the first massive mobile phones!
If you like Elvis, can remember the days before Costa and co took over our High Streets and enjoy an old fashioned love story that is really funny and uplifting, I would thoroughly recommend it.

Oh yeah, it is about 1980s, Elvis, and it must be 'rock and roll'; I do interested to read this kind of book :D, in which (maybe) there will be love beneath the story.
