The story that I read was about how the Wright Brothers Wilbur and Orville always thought about flight, and how their dreams came true. They were the first people to fly. The story started off about how they were kids and grew up together. About how they always wanted to fix things and there mother taught them how to. When they owned a bicycle shop Wilbur wanted to know more about flying and was doing research about it. Finally they started planning out designs and making models of the designs of how they could make the first aircraft that flew. When they made the aircraft fly they made worldwide news but nobody was really impressed of what the did. They kept working on their ideas and they made two other models flyer 2 and 3. The models were both successful and then later they both signed contracts with the army and kings and queens to make more models.

The Wright Brothers was a good book it had some great history facts and was all in all a good book. The facts in the book were precise and i believe that the facts are true. Also the facts were in an order and not misplaced. The story was a great story and the author did a good job telling it. He also was very persuasive to the fact that the farming weren’t getting paid enough money. Out of 5 stars it was a 4 it was still a very good book. I would recommend this book to my friends and others who like history. Also to people who want to learn about planes. The book went into detail about how one of the brothers wanted to learn more about planes. So you could follow through these steps that the Wright brothers did. If you wanted to make your own plane then the Wright brothers design process and start over again and again.

I highly recommend this graphic novel. It was very compelling for my ELL students. I think it would be wonderful to have students create their own graphic novels about figures in history.
