Great book on mastering the 'cold call' or initial contact in a buyer/seller relationship. Very specific, applicable tips and advice around some of the obstacles of that process, and how to surmount them. One of the rare books on cold calling that actually gives both good tips, and doesn't get 'slimy' with old-school tactics.
Why not 5 stars? I found a few slow parts in this book that I had to muscle through that weren't as 'meaty' as they could have been, and there was something in there around the transition to the next stage that I think could have been fleshed out more. Having said that, I appreciated the brevity of the book and the focus on the topic, so perhaps that was actually in its favour anyway.
I would definitely recommend this book to those who are in charge of starting relationships with customers.
