If there's one thing I hate, it's a misleading title. And this book not only has a misleading title, its whole selling point is a lie.
I would've loved a humourous book written from the perspective of cats on how to love your master. As I'm sure a lot of people would've, given the craze for LOLcats and other types of feline-related humour we've seen flourish over the last few years.
I'm going to take a leap here and assume that's exactly what the author and publishers were trying to capitalise on.
So rather than being honest and trying to commercialise a book that might actually match the desires and expectations of cat owners and lovers, they decided to hide a less-than-average book on modern human sexual behaviours under a light varnish of "this is a book about cats!" (i.e. barely more than the cover) to make a quick buck.
