Excellent book for introducing Computers and Programming. Of course, it is written for owners of the bbc micro (ca. 1982) which was especially chosen for teaching computers to British high school students. Nowadays, someone could use it with an emulator. There are many, for all kinds of modern computers, even online as a webpage.
But the people with more interest to the book would be those having “retro computing” as a hobby. Even better, those that started their computer hobby back then, as owners of that very computer!
