I started reading one page a day, every day since the beginning of the year on this book. Each page has a verse, a prayer, and a famous quote on each page. Making it easy to focus on one page each day. I really enjoyed this format and I only wish it were longer. It is a lovely book and devotional for any person out there.
I also felt like each prayer was pretty relevant with what goes on in people's life. We each experience or know of people who experience problems that the book relates to and it helps us to open our heart more to them.
I'm very sad this ended because I would have enjoyed reading more. I wish this was a full devotional because it really speaks volumes. This is a lovely book for anyone and I would really recommend it.
Good devotional. Very short and to the point readings with a bible text and quote from an influential person. However, although conveniently fast, I wanted more depth in my devotions.
Review: God Moments for Women by Carolyn Larsen. With the stress of everyday life, spending time with the Lord can be challenging. This devotional makes it easy to find just a couple minutes to spend time with the Lord no matter where you are. Slip it into a coat pocket or a handbag and use it to reconnect with God whenever you feel moved.
I absolutely loved this little book. It is a short quick read. I found it to be very inspirational. I believe every women should read this book. The devotions are only a page long. You can put this book in a coat pocket or a handbag and carry it with you wherever you go to connect with God. I would highly recommend this book.
A few of the devotions were cheesy, lame, & didn't really go with w. It's like they had multiple different authors and they didn't think they have enough pages so they just threw in some lame ones to bring up page count for final deadline. Next time just have a smaller book. Otherwise, it was a pretty good book.
This is a collection of one minute reads per day. It's great to start your day with a positive thought planted in your mind before your feet hit the floor. I'll just start reading it from the beginning, that's how inspiring it was. I plan to buy several copies for Christmas gifts.
This is a tiny but mighty book. I was amazed at the number of days the devotions applied to my life and things that I was currently experiencing or had experienced in the past. I highly recommend it to to any woman interested in seeing how God moves in everyday life in both big and small ways.
This is a book you can turn to when you feel a need for inspiration. I took my time reading this book. I read a page at a time. I think it took me a few months to read because I let the words sink in. There were some that spoke to my heart and others not so much. I shared pages with friends and they all have loved it. I do recommend to read when you feel like you need a moment with God!
Wonderful - it is one of those books that I can restart as soon as I finish it with each page a devotion for the day. Many times it felt like the day's message was written just for me. I will restart it again soon.
