Second book in the "Her Father/My Master" series, and I was going to round up to 3 stars, but it really is 'just OK.'
In this installment we see Krystal living as Mr. Hendricks' full-time slave while doing on-line community college classes and visiting with her parents over school breaks. However, although we learn a little more about Mr. Hendricks and his kink, I still can't figure out why either of them bothers with it, since neither of them seem to be enjoying it much. Both Krystal and Mr. Hendricks are curiously cold and detached.
Among the book's problems for me (in addition to the many editing errors) were the holes in the story -- such as how Krystal was fooling her parents into thinking she was away at school instead of living with Mr. Hendricks.
For a book with a lot of sex and BDSM elements, it's a very flat read.

I have to agree would of liked a better ending. I was actually sad with the way it did end. When I first started the series I didn't think I would be able to read them. I'm not impressed with the bondage stuff but it did turn out to be a good story. Oops this review was meant for Eventide. Don't know how to delete it. Enthralled kind of drug on.

I find myself not liking Krystal very much - outside of her relationship with her Master, she is a self-centered little bitch. That being the case, this is as far as I am reading.

Her Father, My Master: Enthralled is told from the point of view of the young girl, Krystal. She is immature, needs control in her life like many young people her age. She makes a commitment to live the first year of her college life with her ex-friend's father, Mr. Henderson. He is an alpha male that likes control and order; he expects Krystal to follow his orders and learn self-control in a full time BDSM relationship.
Both characters evolve to have slips in the desired control, which made them human as they learned to live in this relationship. He cared for her, controlled her and directed every part of her life but he did not love her. She was immature in some ways but she knew that he did not love her and she accepted this as she devoted her life to pleasing her master and giving him what he needed. The lack of love is the one thing missing from a committed BDSM relationship, but the commitment was being given for a specific period of time and they were open about it with each other.
The sex scenes were many, varied and well written with great details. I found the girl a mixture of immaturity but seeking to learn to control her emotions and actions. Both characters had ups and downs, like normal people and her slip-ups and his melancholy gave them depth and like all people they had problems to solve in their relationship.
I enjoyed the ups and downs and twists and turns of the characters as they interacted. The sex scenes were inventive, varied and detailed.

So I wanted to finish up the series because, like I said in the first novel review, I felt as though this was my guilty pleasure! OH MY GOD am I glad I did!
Enthralled is the second book in the series and we see Krys and Mr. Hendricks start their rather unusual relationship. She has moved in with him and he is teaching her the BDSM lifestyle, and I have to say, it is unbelievably hot! Krystal learns that for her Master there is nothing she won't do. Nothing that she would deny him. With that knowledge she lets go and allows herself to feel and live it. Passion, dominance and even pain are all part of the package.
We see how Krystal tries to live two very separate lives in this book. During the school year she is with Mr. Hendricks, wearing nothing, doing chores, & pleasing him. During breaks she is at home dealing with a rather interesting family dynamic. In fact, my only annoyance to this book and series is her sister and mother. You have to read the books to know why, but trust me, they will annoy you too.
I give Enthralled 4 lipsticks!
