About the author

Mary Sullivan Esseff is a writer and publisher (ESF Publishing) of her books of fiction, proprietary professional training materials, online journal author and software creator. She is publishing "Wedding Tales, Book One, Love's Journey" in May 2015. This is the sequel to "The Butterfly & The Snail".

Mary holds an AB degree in English Literature from Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia, PA and a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C.

Mary and her husband, Dr. Peter J. Esseff, are pioneers in the field of Instructional Technology. Since 1969, they have owned a training consulting and development company, Educational Systems for the Future and have worked for Fortune 500 clients all over the world. They also have a virtual art gallery Arts-Galleria and an Etsy Shop: ArtsGalleria.

In 2012, Mary’s inspirational story, "The Butterfly & The Snail," won one of the top awards in the Transformational Author Experience Writing Contest.

Mary loves to travel. With her husband, she has visited countries all over the world for business and pleasure. Besides reading, writing and playing tennis, Mary also loves to collect art, paint and create websites. Mary and Peter live in Tampa, FL. They have three children and three grandchildren.

This is an excellent tool for developing interactive instructional materials. This workbook is the third in the Instructional Development Learning System (IDLS-ProTrainer) series published by Educational Systems for the Future®'s imprint: ESF Press. Others in the series include: Task Analysis, Performance Measures, Validation and Simulation.

During the past decades, IDLS-ProTrainer 1 has been revised every few years to incorporate all the shortcuts and insights gained from conducting the workshop thousands of times. What was initially a two-week program is now reduced to a three- to five-day workshop. Drs. Mary & Peter Esseff has also listened to its clients' needs and integrated many of their excellent suggestions into the training materials.
