70s Concept Cars:Yesterday's Dreams of the Future(English,German and French)Book,This was a gift I cherish very much,Although the book should be re-titled 70s European Concept Cars because there is not One American Dream care(AMX/3 Hello?although not American entirely Or The 1968 Corvette XP880(Astro II) or The Beautiful 1970 Corvette(MidEngine)XP-882/Aerovette or the later XP895 Reynolds. Many cars worthy of being included,but the book is A Pictorial and it has beautiful photography and Beautiful Women(I object to a Church as a Background however,with a Woman with see-through shirt.)The book has alot of Ugly "Dreams". some of the Fiat cars are hideous but the way the photography has been done,the location and the pretty woman makes it better and actually takes away the focus from the ugly cars. My Personal Favorites if I have to pick would be the Ferrari 512 S Berlinetta Speciale,The Abarth 2000 Scorpione(Even though I Hate FIAT for its SocialistConnections/Founder as a Practically Semi-State Company.)And the Lamborghini Bravo despite its Hood Indentations,but these are just some of my personal favorites featured,There is One Jaguar in there but I do not want to spoil a perfectly good book,part of the reason these cars are here is the Author had wanted to do a book for a very long time and these are his period photos,which are beautiful color pictures so not much reading just captions.The book is heavy and big,I was able to receive as a nice gift to keep and on sale so no Full price which was a bargain considering how beautiful and creative some of the cars here were and are,and the others are interesting,car design nowadays is sadly something of the past.I am Glad I own this book and Will cherish it.
