An Architecture of Interaction

Yvonne Droge Wendel, Lino Hellings, Mine Kaylan and Klaas Kuitenbrouwer held a series of rigorous research discussions and brainstorming sessions in 'architecting' the six elements of interactivity in de Veemvloer in Amsterdam in November and December 2004. From the end of 2004 to early-mid 2005 the initiators continued to meet and discuss the subject in studio spaces in Tetterode Amsterdam and invited other artists, critics and scholars to participate. These included Emer Beamer, Jeroen Boomgaard, Eva Fotiadi, ORGACOM (Teike Asselbergs and Elias Tieleman), Lina Issa, Merav Yerushalmy, Stephen Willats, Ronald van Tienhoven and Dees Linders.
