This is the best book in the Majestic Horses series that I've read so far. It doesn't have as many errors as the others. It does contain elements found in all of the other books, such as the parts of a horse chart, some of the bibliography, the About the Author section, and this annoying rope design on most of the pages with text.
The full color photos are all from websites like Shuttertock or iStock.com, so nothing commissioned for this book. Still, there are some good photos, such as a mare with young foal, and the differences between a Prazwalski's summer and winter coats.
There is only a brief mention of the massive effort return to the wild. She states the horses were ready to live away from people, but that wasn't the case. They would return to the places where they were released, starving, for years to get supplemental feeding. They also are having troubles with domestic horses, such as breeding with them to give birth to hybrid foals that apparently nobody wants.
The author states that you can't put a saddle on a Prezwalski. Actually, you can -- but I really don't recommend it.
