Being 75 years old and a successful musician, songwriter, author, and an avid reader, the “The Stone of Blood” by Tony Nalley is one of the best fact/fiction books I have ever enjoyed reading.
The ingenious way it was put together shows the gifted talent of the author with the power to hold one in suspense.
The story with it’s reality of truth and the intriguing suspense of the fiction and the unknown keeps one in constant anxiety of wanting to see where and how it would all end.
The authors unique storytelling ability made me feel I was right there with Toby and Colby on their rendezvous with fact and fiction. I can hardly wait for the next book to go to print.
The book took me back to stories like Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn; written by Mark Twain I enjoyed so much as a young boy.
The author has surely reached a plateau of success with his ingenious style of writing. I wish him the best in his writing career. I feel that he is well on his way.

I have to admit. It took me until about third of the book, to finally be awed by this story. It was like waking up from antihistamine induced slumber and waking up to see something incredible unfold in front of my eyes.
In fact, I've been having severe allergy attacks due to the wonderful Christmas tree and the medicine may be the cause of my being slightly sleepy during the first third of the book...
However, Tony has an awesome narrative, he paints a perfect childhood through Toby's voice and tells another darker tale through third person, painting Robespierre and French revolution in a much darker light. An intriguing cast of characters makes an appearance - that including Jesse James.
Fantastically, the adventure starts rolling at a great pace, camp outs, caves, werewolves... and the ending is equally awesome. This book is officially on my 'favorites' list.
Bits of history, horror and innocent fantasy mixed and molded into a superb book.

This guy lives next to my aunt in Bardstown & she told me about the book this weekend - looks like it fits my genre so I'm looking forward to checking it out!!

I loved this book,awesome characters. I loved the history of Bardstown my. I hope to visit the places there the next time I'm in Kentucky.
