Matt Stewart is a television reporter/anchor in Kansas City, MO. Born and raised in Omaha, NE, Matt walked on the football team at Northwestern University and detailed his efforts to earn a full ride scholarship in his book, "The Walk-On: Inside Northwestern's Rise From Cellar Dweller To Big Ten Champ". He graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and began his career in Omaha. He has since worked in Sioux City, IA; Kearney, NE; Dayton, OH; and now Kansas City, MO. His latest novel, "The Man From KNEW News", is a humorous look behind-the-scenes of small town television news station - based on the real people and real events Matt has experienced throughout his career.
