Currently reading this one for school, and am actually really enjoying it. It defines management from leadership to help nurses to be better leaders in their fields... Interesting. A class that I can actually get into!
Actually was a great book and has inspired me to get a Masters degree in Leadership at Gonzaga. Pretty good for a required read;)

I picked this up at a nursing conference a few years ago and found it very applicable to my field. It was a fresh look at leadership for me, and I learned much from this book. I have a leadership course coming up and know it will be useful information to apply to that course. Not bad for what turned out to be a textbook.

So far one of the things I like best is the re-framing of what we often perceive as completely out of control chaos through chaos theory to show underlying patterns that can be grasped and worked with.

More interesting (I guess) than the other book required for this class, but overall both could have been rented. A total waste to buy them both.
