A Simple guide for time and Self management:

This book is a wonderful read about time and what it means to each person. I have always thought of time as something that I had little or no control over until I read this book. The author explains that time isn't something we use, but instead, a way to measure change. This was a completely new way of seeing time and it has helped me to understand it much better. I have also realized that I have entirely too many activities in my life that are not contributing to my control of time, but taking away from it. By using the keys found in this book, I feel that I have been able to better manage my time, my life, and my activities. I no longer feel that I am racing against the clock, but working with it to manage my life. This book really is a great resource for anyone who feels like time is the enemy.

Time Control highlights the notion that we only have so many hours in a day to get things done. It can be easy to let a lot of that time go to waste, and cause us to feel as though we’re not accomplishing as much as we could. But what if we could winnow out the more important tasks, and focus solely on them? What if we could organize our time in order to ensure that we’re producing optimum output? This book shows us that such organization is entirely possible. Functioning more like a workbook than an explanatory guide, Time Control will help you learn how to manage your time and your actions in order to really make progress, as opposed to working on too many things at once and never quite completing anything. By making the right choices and prioritizing, you can make the most of your life, and feel more confident in yourself and your ability to generate results. This book will help you hone that skill.

This book is quite a bit different from most of the other time management books I have read. First off, the author gets you thinking by showing that time isn't really a thing to use, but a measurement of change. The book shows that organization of time is key, and provides steps on how to eliminate or reduce time wasting activities from your life. As you go through this book, there are lots of places that allow for personal customization. If you are a visual person, like I am, you can add to this by writing a personal plan on paper for yourself as you read it. I think this is a great book and very "hands on". I have begun to implement many of the things in this book in my life and have seen my productivity increase!
