A very informative book for rockhounds looking to collect minerals, fossils, semi and precious stones. Specific areas covered in this book include road cuts, quarrys, dump sites, borrow pits and others. Nice pictures (mainly B&W some color) along with hand drawn maps of the locations. Lists accessability and regulations to many sites. Do some research before heading to any of these sites as access may have changed since printing. This is especially true for active quarry's and sites on private land.

This is a good book to keep in your car while traveling through Pa or NJ.
