After surviving their encounters with vampires and other supernatural creatures at VanCamp University, Taylor and her friends must face the real dangers of college: homework, parties, new roommates, and first dates.
Nothing for Taylor is ever quite that simple though, as she is drawn into the mystery of a park with magical secrets just as she is trying to live a normal freshman life with an overprotective roommate. As she grows closer to her new friends, their trust in each other is tested when demons from their past come back to haunt them.
A military brat as a child, VJ Erickson has lived across the country, from Washington state to South Carolina and many places between. He spent a number of his elementary and middle school years riding his bike and playing make-believe in the woods of a small village in Germany and now still feels the itch to travel abroad.
A city-lover at heart, he is drawn to bustling metropolises like Tokyo, Beijing, and Singapore and now lives in southern Connecticut just outside of New York City, his favorite place on the planet.
He loves hanging out with his dog Toby, watching the Food Network then trying (occasionally succeeding) to make up his own recipes, and tending to his modest container garden on his apartment balcony.
I loved the concept of the story. This university is mixed with different races. I love how many types of paranormal creatures there are in this story. I expected the book to center around the leprechaun but the majority of the story seemed to revolve around Taylor and Joseph. Tom didn't get as much focus as I expected because of the title. Overall, I really enjoyed the book and I will most likely continue the series.
I loved this book almost as much as the original Vampire University. It took a little bit longer to read only because I had other reading that I also had to do so I reluctantly stopped and picked it up the next day. Actually I picked it up the day after that but I'm not being nit-picky.
Set in the fictional town of Eden Island, NY, VanCamp University attracts an abundance of paranormal creatures such as Vampires, Gargoyles and, of course, Leprechauns. This book picks up just a few days after the 1st book ends and itself only covers a few days of time.
I'm not going to say much because I'm afraid I would give away too many spoilers. Let's just suffice it to say that this is a really good book. There are four books in the series, and this is number two. I have the other two on my Amazon Wish List to read as soon as I can afford them.
I strongly recommend this series for those who enjoy Young Adult Paranormal books. If you're looking for romance then this ain't the series for you. Two books and so far there is none. But if you like the Young Adult Paranormal genre then this is a terrific series. I highly recommend it.
This series is truly a unique storyline. I haven't read anything similar in any way. I love the characters. It's a light read which I finished in less than a day, but worth it.
Super short only 143 pages and leaves so many questions unanswered. I like the story but the books need to be longer and explian more. There is so much info not being said it is somewhat confusing.
Loved this book even better than the first one and loaded with info it explains a lot from the first book and oh my god the ending is such a cliffhanger
