Cool old stories from back when. So many racals. That 400 foot fall in primative glider whose wings had folded up and surviving was more than a bit lucky. Durn crazy college kids thinking they are immortal and impervious to danger and all. Glad he was able to experience the rest of the fun and wild stories here. Whew! Reminds me of the time i tried that 1 1/2 back dive off the three meter board after being out of practice for over ten years. My rotation was slow and it ending up being a 1 1/4 with a bunch of veins busted in my shoulders. Bad public display. No comparison to the drop mentioned above in that old glider though. Holy plummet, crack and tangle, Batman! Ouch!
