Completed his primary and secondary education in Izmir and higher education in Trabzon. Graduated from Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Architecture in 1969. Apart from his higher education, he spent his entire life in Izmir.
With an understanding that considered being an organized society a condition of civilization, he became a member of various professional and democratic organizations and served as an executive. He published numerous articles and researches, and participated in countless panels, conferences and congresses. He died of a heart attack on the night of June 15, 2020.
