The Parable of the 10 Preachers was an inspiration look into the need for diversity in the pulpit of the local church. Set in a Seminary preaching class, Thomas Troeger explores the different perspectives that each student brings to the pulpit based not their life experiences, future goals and past trauma's. Some characters were easy to identify with, others were easy to argue against, but at the end of the book I found myself with a growing empathy toward the different viewpoints of all the characters presented in the book.
