'Get It How You Live,' is the dramatic tale of three beautiful sisters who are determined to be successful by any means necessary. Each of the sisters are living with secrets that once revealed will ruin them. Living life with no morals, only to protect what they value, they each get their dose of ‘what goes around comes around. Shuga, the middle sister is a manipulative, money hungry, deceptive con artist who does not care who she exploits, even if it's her own flesh and blood. Kat- the oldest sister is a recovered addict/ex-prostitute. Fresh from doing a bid for murder she meets LA. They would have lived life 'happily ever after life' except their secrets run too deep. Bree- the youngest sister was always determined not to be like her older sisters, living the fast life even though it was inevitable. 'Get It How You Live,' is a quintessential tale that reverberates the karmic rule "what goes around comes around".

About the author

Tamika Bumpass is a native of the Dirty South. Born to be a writer, she demonstrated precocious writing skills by completing her first story by the age of 5.

As an adult Tamika's writing career did not begin until destiny led her to a prison cell. Never one to let anything trip her swag, Tamika used prison time to pen "Gutta Gyrls" and other books. She is the author of 13 novels, several short stories and a play.

Her first published novel is "Get It How You Live." Tamika considers herself a connoisseur of Urban/Slang Lingo/Street Literature.

She is currently working on a new novel entitled "A Man's World."

THIS WAS A GOOD BOOK ... IN REALITY MANY WOMEN & MEN LIVE THEIR LIVES LIKE THESE CHARACTERS ... I HAVE TO AGREE IT WAS A HAPPY AND A SAD BOOK TO VISIT .. GOOD OR BAD ... THE END WAS TRAGIC .. THE LESSON GIVEN N MY OPINION WAS... .. KARMA IS REAL ... TREAT PEOPLE HOW... YOU WOULD LIKE 2 B TREATED !

This author has a vivid imagination. It's a must read, very hard to put the book down. I dare say it would make a great movie. It has a lot of action...and a lot of tragedy.
