This required an attempted to understand where soldiers have been, through those willing and able to talk about some of their experiences. We must attempt to understand what it is like in a war zone, to help ease a soldier’s return. In our novella is one family - four generations went to war – Josh is returning from Afghanistan to his wife Lucy in California, following in the footsteps of relatives who have served in Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq.
