I read the 1st 2 nd books in this series and I must say I am disappointed. The 1st and 2nd had a decent build up to make you want to see what was going to happen next and find out how things were going to work out for Kat so I read the 3rd book. This one never really gave me any good feeling that I was going to get a good closure .There are too many un answered questions. Please tell me why Laura was even introduced in this story?Did anyone notice Kat was missing or dead? What happened to the neighbor who was helping Kat? What about Sandra's parents that was sending for her? What about Charlie he is a little fish compared to Michael so we are to believe that the police would choose charging Charlie for his crimes over what seems like a person the detective been trying to get for a long time? Last but not least shooting Steven? REALLY???????
It has a great plot, intruding, suspenseful and all, but it is short, and everything felt rushed and not all well thought and written out. It has so much potential but the with a length like that and so much going on, it killed the books in the end! And there is never any kind of conclusion. It would be a great full length book but with a price like that (!) and everythin else I am very sorry to say it was nothing more than ok. A good story though, even when it gets chopped into (not always) indistinguishable pieces!
There was a lot of explanations that seemed to be missing, leaving the entire book and series under developed. The ending was the most disappointing part; it felt like there was a page limit and it had almost been reached, and the story needed to be wrapped up, so the ending was rushed so it could fit. There are parts that don't quite seem to fit and leave more questions than answers that just left me feeling confused.
Although this book was a slight improvement from Book 1 & 2, I was still totally disappointed. I'll give Book 3 an extra 1/2 star at 2.5 stars.
Everything just happened too quickly, and even the "revenge" was quick & unrealistic. Boring books, personally it seems like it's a quick draft & we're hanging asking so many questions that weren't answered in either of the 3 books.
All I can say is wow! I couldn't put this book down, the while story shocked me and I loved every part of it. This book had Great suspense, sex and love moved in to one....loved it!
