Postpartum depression is very real and Madison will soon discover how it will cost her everything as she fights the biggest battle of her life while facing time in a mental institute. She get serious about her Spirituality and builds a closer relationship with God in order to gain the strength and courage she so desperately needs to take back what the enemy has stolen from her.

Rodney, Madison's, husband, thought he was doing the right thing when he gained full custody of their twins. He offered love, protection, and support for their babies but later found himself paying a huge price as he learn an important lesson on how to listen to God's calling and to forgive in order to be forgiven.

No Grace without Mercy was such a refreshing read. This book has touched the inner depths of my soul on so many levels. I laughed, cried, got angry, but most of all learned that it is always better to forgive so you in return can be forgiven and also become free of the bondage of bitterness. God knows what's best and all things are done according to His plan. Dorothy Goings has definitely out done herself on this one. This book is indeed a pure blessing for anyone who gets their hands on it.

True love never lives happily ever after - true love has no ending, and this quote sums up the way Kendra felt about Miles. In Married Man, the reader is introduced to Kendra Davis a very well put together business professional and Miles Jordan an intelligent smooth talking married man in love with his ex. Told from the male point of view, the reader will be taken on a trip through one woman's will to do anything for love and one man's struggle with choosing the right woman. Although a revisited plot, this story could have been a lot spicier, given the topic. With far too many mistakes, voice changes, and missing information, this book is confusing to say the least. It seems as though the author rushed this book, which may have been a worthwhile read if more time was put into it. Although the premise is there, I wish the author would have taken more time developing and perfecting her story.

1. What did you like best about this book?
I liked that the author chose to tell her story from a male's point of view.

2. What did you dislike about this book?
I didn't like that this book was not edited. The story was rushed and proved to be a frustrating read.

3. How can the author improve this book?
The story is there, but I would advise the author to consider an strong developmental edit before reprinting.

A Purpose and a Plan

A new mother, Madison is battling with postpartum depression. She tries to battle the darkness with medication. Unfortunately she's unable to find her medicine and must fend off the evil on her own. As she finds the fight too difficult, her life will forever be changed from this moment forward.

Grace and Mercy, twins, have been blessed with their father. They've never known their mother and their Papa, Rodney, has done everything he possibly could for them. As he's battling his second round of colon cancer it becomes clear to all that he may not have the will to fight this one off. As the girls visit with Rodney, he knows that it's time to give his daughters the mother they deserve.
Will there be forgiveness?

NO GRACE WITHOUT MERCY by Dorothy Goins is an inspiring read on forgiveness and God's promise. I love how the title relates to the story. Goins writes an easy to read story filled with forgiveness and God's word. There are some minor issues in editing. And though the story is obviously a Christian novel, the story is repetitive as it continues to cycle the issue of forgiveness. Recommendable read.
