Rick Leland writes from the beach town of South Haven, Michigan

He's been a professional writer for over 20 years, with ten books and hundreds of published works, including the Jesus at Walmart trilogy, a true story An Amish Awakening, and a devotional entitled, Living the God Imprinted Life.

Rick says, "The Revival You Want. The Revival You Need! is the most important book I've ever written, yet I still get teary eyed while reading Jesus at Walmart."

He has a Christian Ministry degree from Indiana Christian University. In addition, he trained for two years with Christian Writers Guild.

Music is a passion for Rick. And sees himself as a songwriter more than a musician.

He enjoys collaborating with other musicians. On these occasions, he likes to call the group The Sammy Schrock Band in honor of his great grandpa who adopted his grandma, subsequently introducing the family to the Christian faith.

Look for an upcoming musical project from The Sammy Schrock Band.

Rick is also an artist, entrepreneur, and triathlete. Purposefully integrating all his pursuits into his full-life ministry.

I read a lot of devotionals.

A lot.

It's part of my job. I edit the Australian edition of a well-known international devotional and that involves lots of research, checking a wide variety of facts. In the course of such research, I inevitably encounter many many many devotionals. In addition, I often get asked to assess devotional writing by fellow authors.

Trust me, I'm exceptionally picky. I get jaded pretty quickly when I see the same-old, same-old.

When it comes to a personal choice, I now look for writing that is refreshing, easy-to-read and connects with me by pulling me into a story rather than preaching at me.

Living the God Imprinted Life is a revitalising and inspirational read. Uplifting in parts, heart-tugging at others, full of emotional punch at still others, this book combines the best story-telling with a relevant spiritual thought.

Thanks to Rick Leland for this book. It arrived as a surprise gift with his book, Jesus at Walmart, which I won in a Goodreads giveway.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It has very well-written sections about a variety of topics on the Christian life. It doesn't necessarily need to be read cover to cover, but topics can be easily accessed to encourage a reader in whatever struggle or issue they are facing at the moment. It would be a great gift book for a church to give to new members or visitors. I plan to pass it along to a lady in my Bible study, and hope whe will pass it along when she is finished as well.

This book was a clear reminder of what is important in ones life if we are to live and love well. Very easy to read and understand. Each section can be used as a daily weekly or monthly lesson/thought. I am going to send it to my grand children.
