Maddie Graham is a bounty hunter who likes to keep a low profile. But her stellar reputation has brought her under the keen eye of the Tentalians who feel she’ll be a fitting brood mare for their king. Little do they realize that kidnapping Maddie will be the easy part. She’s far more dangerous than they thought, and it has nothing to do with her hunting skills.
King Rochar and his consort, Santara, aren’t sure what to expect with Maddie. Living on an all male planet, they’ve been taught to view women as mere vessels for future children. But they soon discover Maddie is as feisty as she is compassionate, and her presence threatens to unravel the very fabric of their civilization when they realize she means much more than they’d ever thought possible. As the moment approaches to choose their destiny, will they fall victim to their sense of duty, or will a new order rise with the ringing of the Soprac bells?
Story contains graphic scenes of m/m and m/m/f sex. No warning, only encouragement.
Although born in Ireland, Kaenar Langford lives north of Toronto in rural Ontario but that doesn't stop her from traveling the world in her mind and in her books. The love of romance and the exotic as well as a sense of humour are all entwined to produce stories that will seduce you and make you laugh.
Her husband and two sons have grown used to seeing only the back of her head as she is transported to wherever the writing takes her. She has become immune to the teasing of her colleagues who are delighted with her publication of Lucifer's Angel, her first novel.
Kaenar enjoys playing music and reading and has taken up the Scottish small pipes in the last few years. Of course, Irish music is what she loves to play.
This is one of the crappiest books ever. How many times do I have to read fantasies where women convert gay men into bisexual men? Sheesh, how condescending! I don't understand the need to create a planet of gay men just for the female lead to get to have sex with them and convert them into the religion where she is the revered goddess. What's the theme of this book... that all gay men are secretly bisexual and have a deep burning passion for women? Come on! Not only is that over the top, but really stupid.
Lots of MM and MF sex. The story line was super weak though. An all male planet has survived by kidnapping and impregnating women, then wiping the women's mind clean before keeping sons or rewriting the woman's brain and setting her up in a happy marriage if she has a daughter. It's a romance, so there's a happy ending after the three main characters spend one night/day together. They're all in lurve too.
I needed a icy cold shower after I read this book, phew hot damn. This was a whole new level of sexy erotic fiction. If you are looking for a novel, this won't be for you. If you are looking for something to keep you warm on a cold lonely night, this book will do it for you. Warning if you are not into m/m m/f/m, don't read.
It was pretty hot, but she didn't act much like a bounty hunter. She was more like a "random, helpless girl snatched off the street who falls in love after good sex." I wasn't looking for War and Peace , though.
Would love more of Maddie's background. Their were hints as to her dissatisfaction with her life before her abduction, but not enough to fully explain her easy conversion. As a bounty hunter expected that she would resist more. Sex was great.
