It’s the holiday season and Josie is definitely feeling the strain. From unexpected (and not necessarily welcome) house guests to the demanding clients of her new wedding consultancy, her plate isn’t just full—it’s overflowing.

Adding to the pressure is the tension between the vampire government, Weres and her pointy-toothed love, Walker. Will a string of suspicious teen murders and disturbing secrets from Walker’s past conspire to ruin their love? Or will Josie and Walker rise above such petty concerns and keep fighting, together?

Evelyn Lafont. Evelyn is a full-time writer living in Florida with her perfect orange kitties and totally alpha hubby who saves her from squirrels, stray dogs, glue and herself.

Her debut paranormal romance series, The Vampire Relationship Guide, is a four-novella romp that takes a satirical look at what could happen if a clueless human chick really dated a vampire. It’s also got some good sex and romance shoved up in it, making it a lovely four-course meal that won’t leave you feeling bloated after consumption.

Her newest series, Pack Mistress (Quick ‘n’ Dirty Erotic Paranormal Romance) follows the adventures of red wolf Pack Mistress Lorena as she satisfies the males of her south Florida pack while trying to find herself. It’s more serious than VRG, and more erotic. The novel is being released in serial format, with new 30-35 page installments every other month in 2012.

You can also read Evelyn’s essays and ramblings weekly on her blog or by visiting VampLure, the satirical monthly magazine inspired by The Vampire Relationship Guide series. You can also find some of the guest posts she’s written on The Bitch Blog, Book Love Blog, and The Weblog of Zoe Winters.

t's been awhile since I read the first two in this fun series, but it didn't take me long to fall back into Josie's life with this book. I thought briefly that I might have to reread the first two so I could remember everything, but I am happy to say I didn't have too. Though I might do it just to read more of this great series.

This book is such a quick fun read, I am not sure what else I could say about it Other than I loved it. Okay I will give it a try starting with Josie, oh how I missed her. She is so much fun and so funny. In this installment, she has gotten her Wedding planning service up and running, and the clients she has to deal with lets just say I am so glad I'm not her. But while she is busy trying to get a client's wedding planned, she finds out that she get's to meet Walker's parents plus to add to the craziness her own mother wants to visit for the holidays. What a crazy mess poor Josie has to deal with.

All my favorite characters are back, Walker(did I mention just how much I love him), Grady(please I hope he gets his own book), Shep, Harry and Sandy. As well as three new characters, Ned, Grace and Betty.

This book was a crazy bunch of goodness wrapped in a short story. There were twists which I hadn't expected as well as the cliffhanger, well a slight one anyway. Enough to drive me nuts with what is going to happen.

If you are looking for a dark read then this book isn't for you but if you like a quick fun light read then I urge you to check this series out.

Even though this is a book about vampires the last two books kind of had a more contemporary feel about them. Yes vampires are there but you don't really explore them much and you are more focused on other things. Maybe I am not explaining that right. But anyways the first book totally had that paranormal feel but the 2nd book felt like we transitioned into this new kinda life, and at first I wasn't sure how I was going to feel but now that we are in book 3, I know that I am loving it. I flew through this book and I was loving every second of it.

Josie and Walker are now more settled together. Settled but still hot. In this book we find out a few "shocking" things about Walker. And are introduced to a few newbies. I don't want to spoil the surprise so I won't talk about it much but I hated the one person and the other person totally grew on me.

While there is action in this book its not really the center of the book. Its more of Josie trying to plan a Thanksgiving dinner that is not going to go well. There was a nice mystery but again it just wasn't the center of the book. Evelyn did however set us up for book 4 which seems like is going to be action packed. I am excited to get to that book. All in all I really loved this book and totally wanted more!

I really enjoyed this and laughed when I learnt Walker's real name! No wonder he was reluctant to let Josie know it! If I were him I'd go to the registry office and get it legally changed to Walker! We also learnt his real age and met his parents! Josie mother also turned up and Grady had a lot of fun watching her anxiety and misery with all the parents visiting for thanksgiving! We even have Shep back though he's no longer chasing Josie! However once again we end on a cliffhangar which is not good for me cause I want the next installment now! Espeacially as Grady's ex-wife has been mentioned at the end and she mistakenly thinks Josie is hooking up with Grady rather then Walker so she's planning to get Josie out of the picture! With the way Grady has been such a complete ass to her, if I were Josie I'd contact the ex-wife directly, explain the truth and then let her know Grady's full schedule and access to Grady's room then sit back and laugh at Grady's discomfort for a change! Can't wait for the next installment whenever it's released!

I seriously love this series, and can't wait to find out what happens next. Josie gets into so much trouble just by being herself, and her vampire boyfriend Walker is sinfully sexy. There were laughs on almost every page, keeping me from putting this book down. If you love vampires, romance and laughing until your ribs hurt, you don't wanna miss this series.

I found this book to not have a lot going on. There was no high action plot or story, which made the book feel incomplete. But I do think the next one will have more of this.
