My mother decreed I must have really liked this book since I was telling her about all of the information that the vet Bruce Fogle, DVM had compiled regarding this particular kind of canine. (Honestly, one may conclude "I am more of a cat person." However, it is true I found this book quite accessible, even though it included some baffling terminology regarding specifics about how exactly Labrador retrievers should look like.)

I did not know a quarter of what was here! Previously, I acted particularly antagonistic toward my family Labrador retriever even though he only has a penchant for stepping on my feet. I learned from this book that is due to the breed's problems with sight. I mean, they can see, but... it's a little complicated to explain in depth here. Check the book to see why!

So, if you have a Lab, or if you're thinking of getting another one, this is an excellent book with which to begin your studies! (Or I think it should be near the beginning)
My favourite part was the Assistance Roles page, since that was interesting to me.
