Women flocked to him like bees to honey. They fell at his feet at the sight of him. As he handed them their drinks, they left their panties as a tip. Although he was aggressive, he was still shy and flattered by all the attention he receives from Ladies. He couldn't understand why all the attention, he was just like any average male with a large sexual appetite, and has his way of giving the Ladies pleasure.
But, there was only one Lady that seems to be catching his eye. He can't seem to get her out of his mind. Her sexiness had him off balanced. He saw other women, he had even gone on a date or two but, his mind was gravitating towards one. Will she pay attention to him or will she tell him to go to hell?
What is it that he was feeling? Or is it he wants what he feels he couldn't have? Is he out of her league?
She saw him for a moment on a Friday evening, that moment left a weird taste in her mouth literally. The thought of that night, she couldn't seem to get it out of her head, she eluded the place as much as she could. She tried her best not to go anywhere near it.

Your Past Does Not Dictate Your Future

This is the story of Kevin Stokes. He ends up working as a manager at a bar called The J Spot. He meets many women in his line of work and some of his work ethics are questionable. Good at what he does, he is given an opportunity he can't pass up. Along the way he meets Melanie and the sparks fly. They decide to make a go of it as a couple and so the story begins.

I understand the concept of Jeane' Sashi’s “The J Spot,” but it did not flow well. I expected more based off the synopsis. The story, however, somewhat fell short. The relationship between Kevin and Melanie developed so fast and a lot of it was somewhat far-fetched. I felt like a lot of key elements were left out. There were many grammatical errors. This diminished the story.

There is a sequel. Maybe all of my unanswered questions will be answered in the next book.

Inspiring story.

I loved this book. I loved Melaine and her sister Mina. They had each other's back through anything. I also loved Issac and Kevin. I loved how each couple gave each other a chance on a whim. I really liked Kevin's story because even though he came from a bad situation and went to a new city with nothing he still overcame everything that was thrown his way. I can't wait to read another book by this author.

Reading “The J Spot” was an interesting journey for me as a reader. The tale was rife with tension and romance, sex and sensuality, and some other quick twists that kept me wondering what would happen next. It had all the elements I needed, and I was all set for a great sitting.

And then, I hit the end of the book and was left wondering, “what happened?”.

Now, the sex was fun and interesting, including some locales and situations the characters found themselves in, don’t get me wrong (I’ll never look at a tent in the same way again…whew *fanning self*). The connection between Melanie and Kevin was strong from the start, and the one between the supporting characters, Isaac and Mina was developing nicely also, which is why I was so disappointed by the way things abruptly ended.

Jeane Sashi spun a story that for me was entertaining, but I found myself looking for more to the story was the end as near. The happily ever after is something I love to be shown as a reader, and it didn’t happen here.

But, all was not lost, though. The suspense was delicious, and the drama was crazy, to say the least LOL. There were times where I wondered if Kevin was messing around with fire with some of the things he did in the book, and I wanted to wring his neck with some other things he got himself into, even though he did play things straight up. You’ll see what I mean when you get the book!

I would still recommend this book to anyone who would enjoy a story for the entertainment value, and the ending might be enough for them, but for me, I needed closure.

The only negative I will give this book is the editing. The author needs to go back and do an update to edit the grammar errors throughout the book. Other then that is was a good read.
